DPIAs & AIIAs

The UK/EU GDPRs and the ICO mandate that Risks to Individual's Rights and Freedoms are considered whenever a new technology that collects, stores, uses Personal Data is planned or implemented.
The ICO state that a comprehensive DPIA must be conducted if this new technology is or includes AI.

The EU AI Act is a comprehensive regulation that establishes a unified framework for AI across the EU.
The Act mandates an AI Impact Assessment to assess the Risk of harm to individuals.
The "Brussels Effect" will make AIIAs a worldwide,
gold standard
for AI Implementations.

To ease the burden on businesses and organisations planning to use AI or already using AI, Red Kite AI's combined DP / AIIA Process means the Data Protection Impact Assessment and the Artificial Intelligence Impact Assessment are completed in one project, saving cost and creating just one impact assessment to manage.
